I discussed the CPG and co-planned with Ms. Regen, Mr. Vasquez and Ms. Sheperd for our co-teaching sessions. I started working on the lesson plan, activities and materials thatr Mr. Vasquez and I will use on our co-teaching opportunity.

I attended a Writing training at the Fanny C. Harris builidng.

October 9, 2007 (Tuesday) Adamson High School

I attended the ELA meeting where different strategies on facilitating Accountable Talk, strategies for open-ended responses were discussed and the department head gave her feedback on her co-teaching experience with me, in terms of creating class discussion criteria and rubric and using Accountable Talk and promoting Academic Rigor in her classes.

I co-planned with Mr. Vasquez and Ms. Sheperd on our planned co-teaching sessions. Ms. Regen and I continued discussing our co-teaching sessions tomorrow and and Thursday. Among other things, we discussed strategies in responding to text specific interpretive responses, analyzing themes across texts and students' use of more Accountable Talk stems that will enable them to build on each other's ideas, and support their responses with logical reasoning and textual evidence. I continued working on putting together the lesson, activities and materials that Ms. Regen and I will be utilizing tomorrow and Thursday on our co-teaching sessions. I also continued working on putting together the lesson, activities, and materials for the co-teaching sessions that I will have with Mr. Vasquez.
